Volkan received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering with Research Option from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2020. He received his M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Caltech in 2022. He received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a Ph.D. subject minor in Physics at Caltech in 2026. He works on integrated systems for emerging technologies, including quantum computing, communications, sensing, and large-scale photonic-electronic integrated circuits for high-performance computing. He is currently a post-doctoral researcher at MIT/Caltech, and a Visiting Researcher at NVIDIA.
