Elliott Williams wins the Young Engineering Prize (YEP) at European Microwave Conference for the paper: “Meta-Gaps for Mechanically Reconfigurable Phased Array”. This paper is based on his Ph.D. thesis results describes flexible programmable switched conductive structures that can reuse the aperture gaps in dynamically reconfigurable arrays to enhance its performance.
Elliott started a new Faculty position at the Hofstra University as an Assistant Professor of Engineering this fall.
